David Cook, J.D., received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1974 where he also earned his Masters of Law in Tax degree. 

David began practicing law in Colorado in 1982.  In addition to being a successful attorney, David was also the owner and publisher of The North Fork Times newspaper.  After establishing the tax department of a mid size law firm located in Denver, he and Jill Klancke started the law firm of Klancke & Cook.

David's goal is to provide an experience that is comfortable, tailored to your needs and to achieve a positive outcome. 

David serves a number of non profit and local organizations.  He currently serves on the board of directors for the Tipi Raisers and the national board of directors for Bethesda Lutheran Communities, which operates group homes and provides assistance for the developmentally disabled.  David is 
an instructor in the adult education program at Arapahoe Community College. 

David Cook is a sought after and accomplished public speaker and speaks throughout the state on estate planning/family relationship issues and developed the popular seminar "Mom Always Loved You Best". To arrange a speaking engagement contact David.

David is the author of several articles; Mom Always Loved You Best, What To Do When Someone Dies, and 52 Legal Tips You Can't Live Without. Mr. Cook has recently completed his first book Games Lawyers Play. 

JILL KLANCKE

Jill Klancke, J. D, received her law degree from Denver University School of Law in 1982.

Jill is the managing partner of Klancke & Cook and focuses primarily on Real Estate Law.

Jill is dedicated to serving her clients' needs and helping them bring their issues to a safe, confidential, and positive resolution.

Jill Klancke has authored numerous articles including: 3  Simple Ways to Keep Your Heirs Out of Court and Love and Dying.

Ms. Klancke serves a number of non profit and local organizations.  She is a board member of the Tipi Raisers, which serves the Lakota Souix and also a board member on the Alliance of Professional Women Foundation.
